Juices and smoothies (1)

Lots of people don’t have much time for breakfast or really struggle with eating something in the morning. Breakfast is claimed to be the most important meal of the day though. Juices and smoothies are a really good solution to that problem. You won’t have a completely full stomach and still get a lot of vitamines for the rest of the day. You also don’t need to worry about eating those 2 pieces of fruit, which you probably forget during the day.


 

Strawberry smoothie with blueberries

The best thing is to buy your fresh fruits and vegetables at the local market, but deep frozen fruits work as well. What are the ingredients you need for this delicious drink?

  • 150 gram strawberries
  • 75 gram blueberries
  • 1,2 dl naturel yoghurt
  • 0,6 dl milk

Put all the ingredients together in the blender or use a hand processor, whatever is easier voor you. Keep blending it till it is smooth, put it in a glas and your smoothie is done.

Tip! If you don’t have a lot of time in the mornings, prepare your smoothies in the evening and put them in the fridge. You can always make smoothies and juices for multiple days, it saves you some time. Just watch out with the bananas, because they can cause a bit of a bitter taste if you leave them in the fridge for too long.


 

Vitamin C

You can make this smoothie when you feel a bit off and tired. It has lots of vitamin C in it and is very health. The ingredients you need for this smoothie are:

  • 150g blackberries
  • 150g red berries
  • 2 peeled kiwi’s
  • 2 peeled oranges

 

Cleansing juice

This juice is perfect for the people who are on a diet or the ones who are detoxing. It really cleanses your body and is very refreshing.

  • 2 apples
  • 120 grams of melon
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • 50grams of watercress
  • 15 grams of wheatgrass

Tip! You can het your superfoods at the supermarket or simply order them online. If you don’t like wheatgrass you can also put other superfoods in your drinks, as long as you don’t exaggerate.

    Voor als je wilt ontgiften. Ik heb wel eens smoothies gehad waar spinazie in zat, voor de groene kleur. Maar met deze smoothie is dat niet nodig.

    Mijn tip is om toch wat meer met foto’s te werken als je wilt bereiken dat mensen het gaan proberen. We zijn toch visueel ingetseld. daarom hebben kookboeken ook vaak van die mooie foto’s…

    Ik heb zelf altijd problemen met ontbijten, is zo’n smoothie nou een goede vervanger of toch beter vast eten? Ik maak avonds wel regelmatig een smoothie ik ga zeker die van jullie proberen!!
